  Has served in various positions within Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies since 1994. For outstanding achievements in professional and operational training, he was awarded the state decoration “For Impeccable Service,” 3rd Class.

  Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for Cybersecurity and Cloud Technologies

  Previously worked at EPAM Digital and the Kharkiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Examinations. Today, he is responsible for the cybersecurity of Ukraine’s government IT infrastructure, the security of digital services, and the implementation of modern cloud technologies.

  His areas of expertise include information security standards, including those related to artificial intelligence, the development of cyber diplomacy, shaping transparent policies for cloud solutions, and fostering public-private partnerships in cybersecurity.

  Roman Sobol

  Deputy Head of the Security Department, Naftogaz of Ukraine

  A leading cybersecurity expert in the energy sector with over 12 years of experience. He began his career in the Cyber Police and later worked at Ukrtransgaz, Gas TSO of Ukraine, SE “Naftogazbezpeka,” and Naftogaz of Ukraine.

  He contributed to the creation of the sectoral SOC within Naftogaz Group and also headed it. His experience includes implementing ISO/IEC 27001 standards and developing strategies to protect critical infrastructure from cyberattacks. His expertise contributes to strengthening the cyber resilience of Ukraine’s energy sector.

  In recent years, he has focused on cybersecurity, cryptocurrency transaction analysis, and OSINT. He advises government institutions and private companies on countering cyber threats and financial crime.
